Plan for an exciting full day at the CKC finals. This event is open to all competitors and no prior tournaments are required. Those that have competed during the year have earned a seed that determines placement in their division.
The division championships will take place throughout the morning and afternoon. There is an optional dinner planned for those that wish to eat at the event as well as get front row seating for the spectacular night show. At the night show, all of the division champions will receive their awards, but before they do that, they will compete on stage for one of the coveted 2015 Overall Grand Champion awards.
To be eligible for one of the 30 Overall Grands, competitors must win their division title, then compete in a grand runoff during the day. In forms, the top 3 highest scoring competitors in each grand runoff will compete in the night show. In point fighting, the last two competitors in each grand will advance to the night show.
Continuous Sparring and Self-defense Forms are not eligible for overall grands.
